History:
DC Metals, Inc. was founded by John “Don” Cherry in 1956 in Oakland, California. At the end of 1990’s Don purchased the WC Rose recycling business and moved DC Metals, Inc. to that location in San Leandro, California. Through innovation and the hard work of Don and his sons, Ray and Craig, his grandson Dan, and his granddaughter, Cindy, DC Metals, Inc. is truly a family business. DC Metals, after nearly 70 years of business, continues to serve the San Francisco – Oakland – San Jose – and the greater Bay Area as well providing service to locations throughout Northern California including the Central Valley, Marin and I-80 corridor. No job is too small for us to process.
Our Process:
DC Metals, Inc. purchases all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We accept customer delivery of materials, or we can deliver a roll-off box of almost any size for customers to load themselves at their site. Metals are processed and supplied to domestic and international foundries to be manufactured into new products. DC Metals, a California State Certified Recycler, is expert at handling and processing scrap metal materials. DC Metals practices safety first and uses state of the art equipment at its “green” two acre collection and processing facility. This provides for the recycling of material in the most reliable, clean, and efficient manner.
Convenience:
DC Metals delivers roll-off boxes to a broad range of clients for the clean and convenient transfer of materials. Once these containers have reached full capacity or upon request, DC Metals exchanges the container, weighs the materials, and promptly pays the customer top market prices.
